„I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.“<\/strong><\/em>1<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Bekenntnis wird zum Abschluss des Verfahrens vor der Aush\u00e4ndigung
der Einb\u00fcrgerungsurkunde von allen m\u00fcndlich abgelegt, die zu diesem
Zeitpunkt \u00e4lter als 16 Jahre sind. Der Wortlaut lautet:
\u201eIch bekenne feierlich, dass ich das Grundgesetz und die Gesetze der
Bundesrepublik Deutschland achten und alles unterlassen werde, was ihr
schaden k\u00f6nnte.\u201c<\/strong><\/em>
Schon zu Beginn des Verfahrens ist schriftlich vorab eine Erkl\u00e4rung
vorzulegen, in der dem neuen Heimatstaat Deutschland Loyalit\u00e4t
zugesichert wird (Loyalit\u00e4tserkl\u00e4rung)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
